I got a really fast graphics card to speed up redraws (which takes 8 seconds) on my high-res (4K) monitor. The card made no improvement. Will you please tell me how the CADint graphics are handled? Does it use DirectX, other. How come the new card did not speed things up? Any advice will be appreciated.

There are several ways to do a slot.
One: outline the slot using drill template, than place a hole in the center of slot and call it. 'hole type 1'.
Next on hole chart where hole type 1 shows lost slot size and vendor will create said slot. Remember to provide cooper all around slot area both sides and at least .025 bigger.
Two: create a wide line the x&y size of the slot using 'user milling plated' any good vendor will know what to do next
Hi greg,
I have made some plated slots on the board edge, I guess you can use the same procedure inside the board. I put a plated hole at the beginning of the slot, then I extend the copper lands to cover the slot. Finally, and most important, I specify either by drawing or by text what I need. This works fine every time.
